An intelligent key that is not working could be due to a weak I-Key battery, internal corrosion or other I-Key circuitry problem, or a faulty antenna. Get inside your Nissan with your key, then lock the doors. Insert the key into the ignition without starting the car. Repeat this process 6 times.Wait for the Nissan's hazard lights to flash - this could take up to 10 tries in some cases. Put the key back in the ignition and turn the key until you reach accessory or auxiliary mode.
Battery for key fob. The key fob is not locking the car. An intermittent beeping sound is made when the locking button on the fob or the button on door handle is pressed. The spare fob works ok. I've removed the back of the key fob to change the battery as I thought that's what needed. I removed the back and there's no battery or placement for it.

Reset the system. If the key fob is not working due to a glitch in the keyless entry system, it may be possible to restore the functionality by resetting the keyless entry system in your Qashqai. Disconnect both negative and positive terminals of the 12 volt battery.
How to replace the key fob battery on Nissan. Step #1: Flip the key fob over, find the small switch on the back and push it down to remove the physical key from the key head. Step #2: Insert a small flathead screwdriver (A) into the slit (B) to separate the front and back cases. Use a cloth to protect the casing.
The immediate thing is that Nissan Connect won't recognise an NTFS formatted device. That puts things behind the curve substantially. It thus comes down to drivers that a PC would auto employ to control any USB deviceor a wide range lets say. So it does, but the USB Controller/driver is limited in the Nissan box IMO.
